How Storage is billed
Storage is billed based on the total amount of stored data and storage operations. There is no retrieval or egress pricing. Class A operations mostly mutate state. Class B operations are mostly read operations. Delete operations are free.
- Storage: Storage is metered by averaging the peak storage per day over a 30-day billing cycle. Every billing cycle is always 30 days.
- Egress: Egress is completely free, regardless of the size of the data you move out of Storage.
- Class A operations: UploadPartCopy, UploadPart, CreateMultipartUpload, ListMultipartUploads, ListParts, CompleteMultipartUpload, ListObjects, EditObjectMetadata, CopyObject, UploadObject, CountObjects, EditBucket, CreateBucket, ListBuckets.
- Class B operations: GetBucket, GetObjectMetadata, GetObject, GetMultipartUpload, GetPart.
- Free operations: DeleteObject, DeleteObjects, FlushBucket, DeleteBucket, and AbortMultipartUpload.
